Jameson Black Barrel is a triple distilled blend of pot still and grain whiskey. The whiskey has matured in a mixture of sherry casks and double charred bourbon barrels – a technique called by Master Coopers “bringin the wood back to life”. A maturation in charred bourbon barrels concentrates the aromatic flavours of the oak.
Jameson Black Barrel is a luxury expression that reveals intense notes of spices, vanilla and nuts. It has a rich and malted texture laden with dried fruits, apricots and pepper.
